Rub it on, seal it in.

Rub transfers on with the Transfer Tool, then protect them with Clear Finishing Wax, Clear Matte Topcoat, or Clear Satin Topcoat. For gold, rose gold and silver foil transfers, rub only the design, then buff away loose flakes with a microfiber cloth before sealing.

How do I apply a furniture transfer?

Let the paint dry 24 hours. Keep the backing on while you position the transfer, then peel the backing and stick it down; placement is the most important step. Rub it on with the transfer tool, starting at one corner and lifting the paper slowly to check. Don’t remove the paper until everything has transferred. Then seal it.

How is a gold foil transfer different?

Same steps, with two differences: rub only over the design, not the empty areas, and when you’re done, wipe with a microfiber cloth to remove loose flakes before sealing. The paint must be fully dry, 24 hours, or the foil sticks where it shouldn’t.

What do I seal a transfer with?

Clear Finishing Wax, Clear Matte Topcoat, or Clear Satin Topcoat. All three work with Re-Design with Prima transfers.
