Kacha Furniture Paint
Chalk-Style Furniture Paint
Twenty signature colors, made in the USA and chosen by furniture artist Kacha. Highly pigmented and self-leveling, so brush strokes melt away as it dries. It blends, layers and dry-brushes without thinning.

How much paint?
Kacha’s size guide.
| Your piece (two coats) | Size |
|---|---|
| Try a color or a small piece | 4 oz |
| Small table or chair | 8 oz |
| Small dresser or coffee table | Pint |
| Nine-drawer dresser | Quart |
| Armoire or large buffet | 2 quarts |
Most colors. A light color over dark wood may need a third coat. Kacha Pink starts at 8 oz; Lemon Yellow comes in pint and quart.
Do I need to sand or prime first?
On most furniture, no. Clean the piece well and paint. Sand or prime laminate and shiny furniture; use a shellac-based primer on dark woods like cherry, walnut and mahogany; and sand off any finish that is flaking or chipping.
How many coats will I need?
Plan on three coats to be safe. Many darker colors cover in two. Wait about an hour between coats.
Do I need to seal it?
Yes. Kacha paint is a chalk-style paint, so seal it with Clear Finishing Wax or a topcoat, Clear Matte or Clear Satin, 24 hours after your last coat. Wax or topcoat, never both.
